When the storms are raging
And no light I seem to see
I can call on Jesus
And know He hears my plea

It really does not matter
How strong the storm may be
I'm talking about Jesus
Who spoke, and calmed the sea

So friend if you draw near to Him
He will draw near to you
He can conquer anything
You'll e'er be going through

He said He'd take you through it
Not around it all you see
For while the tempest rages
He'll hide us 'neath His wings
