~ Sands Of Time ~

No wall can prevent it from coming
if love is truly meant to be
just as no clock can bring it back
when it's time for it to flee.

As the sands of time slowly sift
through the shapely hourglass
you cannot cease their flow
only hold onto the moments past.

When it's time for love to go
consider how blessed you've been
to have held passion within your heart
as beautiful as when love began.
