Another day is finished
It's coming to a close
What has been accomplished
Only the Savior knows

We try sometimes to do things
That will impress our Lord
But it's not works that will save us
But His grace, thru His word

But we must still do His work
That is required of us
So when the day is finished
In Him we still must trust

Work while it is day
For night will soon be come
Then only what's accomplished
Will matter when it's done

Our worship, faith, and praise
To our risen Savior
Will account for good at last
We will know His favor

He will take us then
To a wonderful home beyond the sky
There we'll be forever
With Jesus at His throne on high!
