~ Searching For Eden ~

Forever searching for Eden
Does it sleep with the morning mist
Will it fall with the setting sun
Hidden in the stars, riding on a wish

Not found in the dreams of night
Rainbows are never seen in the dark
A warming blaze can’t be started
Until you're willing to supply the spark

Does it flow amongst the waves
Will it mingle with the incoming tides
Wanting so to taste of its waters
Yet from your lips it continues to hide

Could it dwell in the mountains
Tucked far away in the valley below
Maybe riding upon the raindrops
When those cool winds began to blow

Your Eden lingers in a whisper
Tenderly placed in each soul within
Closing your eyes you’ll see it
Just give all your heart back to Him
