Morning sunrise full of color
A cool breeze in the face
Flowers sparkling with dew
Simple pleasures have their place.

The music of a songbird
An evening whippoorwill
A rainbow after the storm
Simple pleasures are a thrill.

We keep on traveling life's road
That someday will end
Stop and enjoy simple pleasures
While God gives us time, my friend.

Happiness in life cannot be bought
To that we can all attest
Simple pleasures are still free
And God provides us with the best.
