Diner
For

scraps
from
the
plates
Now
and
then
I
like
to
walk
along
the
edge
of
the
beach
And
often
catch
a
gourmet
meal
That
swims
right
in
my
reach
I
refuse
to
eat
from
just
any
trash
I'm
way
too
proud
for
that
I
know
this
neighborhood
And
I'm
the
king
of
the
Alley
cat's
The
governor
lives
in
my
town
I
know
which
house
is
his
I
know
what
time
he
eats
And
I
know
that
he
likes
fish
So
I'm
often
at
his
back
door
And
a
gentle
maid
works
there
I
sit
there
and
purr
for
her
She
feeds
me
with
great
care
