Lord I want to know
The things that make you smile
So I'll sit here at your feet
As I rest a while

I'm sure you know I love you
But I want to tell you once again
You mean the world to me
You are my dearest friend

You can have my whole heart
Lord, if you just smile on me
Always love me as your child
That will be reward enough for me

What could be more pleasant
Than to have your wonderful smile
Looking down on me
