~ A Special Friend On Mother's Day ~
You have shown me how to love again
You are my forever friend
You have seen what is in my heart
The life that never ends
On mother's Day I want you to know
How your care has helped me to be whole
You told me how precious Jesus' love can be
Now I see the part of life
You have given back to me
My special friend on Mother's Day
You saw in me the little child
Who needed comfort from the cold
I was lost, so I came to you
And like a mother, you pulled me through
Now I can sing with joy today
And feel love again
Just because you stayed
You will always be a part of me
It did not matter about my yesterdays
Your arms held me tight above the ocean waves
Your words of love I listened to
As you told me I had a work to do
So because you cared for me
It is possible to see,
The miracle I was meant to be
Now I can give out hope and love
To others who have lost their way
I know how to truly care
Because your love was there~*~
