My special friends are very dear
Bringing sunshine when they come near
Always loving in a wonderful way
Like a gentle breeze on a spring day.

Special friends can withstand hardships
As hurricane winds blow
They put a candle in the window
Showing the way with a warm glow.

Special friends never dwell on the past
And never greet you with a frown
Showing a bright smile that will last
Special friends never let you down.

My special friends are like a rainbow
We share happiness each day
There is one thing that I know
My special friends are here to stay.
