~ Star Shine ~

If I could catch a star for you,
I'd pluck it from the sky,
to give it to you personally,
and you, of course know why!

Your friendship is to me so bright
as stars that twinkle in the night.
How I love the sweet star shine
the bond between your heart and mine!

So, if I could, I'd pluck a star,
and send it airmail to where you are,
to show you what you mean to me,
I'd place it in the sky for all to see....

for yours would then outshine by far,
the biggest, brightest, sparkling star.
I'm so glad, dear friend of mine,
that you are my special "star shine!"
