~ The Start Of A Season ~

Autumn will display its beauty
Every leaf will resemble a flower
Reds, golds, yellows, and browns
Hillsides and trees will become empowered.

So much beauty to behold
Each season leaves its mark
Summer blending into autumn
A good time to stroll through the park.

Listen to the birds as they give a warning
Winter soon will be here
Autumn doesn't last too long
A change is happening in the atmosphere.

The season, autumn, is a special one
God's work can be seen first hand
Splashes of colors are everywhere
Like a painting, they dot the land.

Rays from the sun peek through the clouds
Caressing each colorful leaf
The trees will finally give up their hold
Autumn then will become like a thief.

Relinquishing all of its beauty
But we are not to reason
Autumn will blend into winter
Announcing the start of another season.
