~ Sunrise Blessings ~

Oh what a beautiful sunrise
has dawned on me today
Shining on my pathway
as I kneel to pray

To thank my heavenly Father
for keeping me thru the night
and then to thank Him again
for waking me with beautiful light

He's given me a brand new day
Another day to walk with Him
Oh how wonderful to know
Jesus is my friend

No other friend like Jesus
will I ever know
His blessings ever surrounding me
Every where I go

As I met some friends of mine
on this sunny day
and tell them just how blessed I am
To have Jesus hear me pray
