~ Sunrise Pathway ~
As I
stand here quietly waiting
The
morning sun begins to rise,
And I
look within the rays of light
With
wonder in my eyes.
For
there leading to the vertex
Where
sky so high, meets sea,
Is a
pathway drawing onward
To
where my friend will be.
While dreaming long in thought
My feet
could walk in prayer,
Then on
that glowing light I'd ride
Until
soon I am right there.
Riding on the golden highway
Sunlight streaming on the
sea,
For the loveliest of mornings
Heaven joining you and me.
Together in heart we can ever
be.
