~ Take A Chance ~

"Take a chance", they say
you might win,
The right number
chances slim.
I hunkered down
I will not try,
Don't bother me
don't even try.

Like the lottery
tickets bought,
Wait and see on TV
all for naught.
Playing Casino games
not at all,
Downright disastrous
when numbers fall.

The game of life
we pick and choose,
Profession, partner
sometimes we lose.
Life style, belief in truth
following a goal,
Being abused, misused
no longer in control.

"Follow me", Jesus said
words so strong,
You will have life
it's been there all along.
No misgivings
My Love is for all,
For haven't I told you
as I did Paul.

Leave behind ill gains
and sinful ways,
Believe and trust God
for all your days.
For God is the answer
He's everywhere
He loves you unconditionally
for He does care.
