~ Take Away My Tears ~

Take away my tears, sweet Jesus,
take away my tears
Help me stay strong,
Tell me I belong.
Let me see the sun,
not this despair that I have known
I want to light a candle,
That is my very own.

There are times I live in the past,
 I hope it does not last
I have dreams I want to come true,
Yet I don't know how to make them bloom.
I am in so much pain, I live my life the same
Take away my tears, sweet Jesus,
Take away my tears.

I have two mother's who are what I am.
I was a secret, I was unknown
I try my very best, to leave the past alone.
Yet I lived a puzzled life, I ask you sweet Jesus,
was it right
Even until this very day,
My tears don't go away.

I have two families, one cannot see me,
My own family I found, loves me
And wanted me to be.
I am your child, Jesus, take away my tears
Pray for me, let me see a glimpse of the Heavenly
I want to see what becomes of me.

Take away my tears, Dear Jesus,
take away my tears
You are The Lord,
My heart is reaching you,
I know you love me
And you will help me through.
