~ Talking And Listening ~
Up very early in the morning
Just before the breaking of day
In this quiet solitude
My Savior and I have much to say

As I pray to Him he answers
If I take time to visit with Him
And don't say just what I have to say
Then run away again
 


 But wait while He is speaking
Not hurry off so fast
Hear everything He tells me
I'll need the strength to last

God loves a conversation
He listens better than anyone else
He wants me to hear what he wants of me
As well as what I've asked for myself
