Every day about three
It is tea time for my friends and me
On my table I have a beautiful bouquet
With my tea pot and cups on a tray.

I picked a favorite flower of each friend
A reflection of love that will never end
God gave me each friend as a gift
Tea time with them gives my heart a lift.

At tea time when we all join together
We talk, laugh and tease one another
As friends our bonds will not be broken
And never a harsh word is ever spoken.

Tea time with friends brightens my day
Each friend is special in a wonderful way
I thank God we accept each other as we are
Because each friend is like a shining star.
