As a child in a time long ago
teddy was cuddled, but now he's for show.
When we were young, teddy and me ...
where you saw one, the other you'd see.
Changes over the years, with each passing day
but no matter, I couldn't throw teddy away!
For I love him and touch him still
and my heart knows I always will.
Only my special Grands with careful hands
are allowed to touch my little teddy man!
He sits like a king atop a bookshelf ...
but he's certainly not by himself!
