A Teenager Now
Oh my dear how fast you've grown
And very mature I see
A beautiful teenager full of life
I wonder as I look, how can this be?
A babe in arms only yesterday
Now you are a lady so fine
Though you're now a teenager
I am so proud when I say "you're mine"
We have grown together my darling
Enjoyed our life all the while
Now you will still be close to me
But your life will change to a different style
Your dreams you will accomplish
The things so important to you
Go on my beautiful lady
It's time, The spotlight's now on you
No mom could be more thankful
Than I am this day
You are now "16", you are on your way
