Was
it
ten
thousand
angels
That
stood
to
block
the
sun,
While
our
Lord
Jesus
died
As
God's
beloved
Son.
Was
it
the
choir
of
heaven's
host
That
screened
the
Father's
face,
While
Jesus
took
the
blame
To
bear
all
our
disgrace.
Was
it
their
silver
tears
Rained
softly
in
the
dark,
While
our
sin
crushed
the
lamb
of
God
To
break
the
Father's
heart.
Was
this the multitude of angels
Jesus would not call,
To save Him from the chosen pain
The piercing of our thorn.
Did they beat their mighty wings
To shake death's hardened core,
As God split the temple curtain
So life is ours forever more.
And are those angels tears all shed
Who worship at the throne,
Rejoicing as the risen Lord
Brings all His precious children home.

Jesus
said..Do
you
think
I
cannot
call
on
my
Father,
and
He
will
at
once
put
at
My
disposal
more
than
twelve
legions
of
angels
But
how
then
would
the
Scriptures
be
fulfilled
that
say
it
must
happen
in
this
way”
Matthew
26:53,
54
Then
I
looked
and
heard
the
voice
of
many
angels,
numbering
thousands
upon
thousands,
and
ten
thousand
times
ten
thousand.
They
encircled
the
throne
and
the
living
creatures
and
the
elders.
Revelation
5:11
