~ Tent Revival ~
On a mountain up in Georgia,
'Neath the shade of some old pines,
We'll get together, with our Savior,
Be sure that you're on time!
We'll all start out with breakfast,
No need to bring a plate,
For the Bread will be broken freely.
Don't miss a thing, so don't be late!
Brother Joe will start out a servin'
The Bread of Life from God's own Word.
We'll serve a platter of Salvation,
Compliments of our dear Lord!
There'll be singin' and be praisin'
From each and every throat.
Come on over, all God's children,
You don't want to miss a single note!
Sister Lynn will be gladly speakin'
Of His blessin's testifyin'.
How through hardships He has led her,
'Cause she just kept on a tryin'!
All the kids will be a singin'
"Jesus Loves Me" in sweet tune.
As guitars and banjos are a strummin'.
Come on up! There will be room!
And 'neath a canvas tent
With straw upon the floor,
Another "meat" from His Word
Will greet you at the door.
We'll say our hallelujahs
With interjections of "AMEN"s!
As we feast upon His Mighty Word
And sing old country hymns!
We'll close it to our Father,
As we bow our heads in prayer.
Don't miss this "tent revival"!
Just plan on bein' there!
So, come on up and join us
As His will we seek to find;
In His presence, in a campground,
'Neath the shade of Georgia pines!
