~ Thanks For The Long Haul ~
You are just who we need
A solid strength
we can trust,
As you know the
skills to motor on
Steering clear
of the dust.
You know when
to put on the brakes
To shift and
carry the load,
You've got
great driving pace
Trucking
straight along the road.
You're
patient in throttling it
To make the
laboring incline,
But also know
how to put on the skids
To maneuver the
downward climb.
When a crossroad
appears ahead
You deliberate
which way to turn,
And as a
new direction looms up
You know to
clutch it, to avoid rubber burn.
Thanks for
handling the wheel
Your performance is appreciated here
Avoiding
potholes along the way
You know when
to accelerate into top gear.
Some may drive
off out of sight
Others may back
up at the task
But you
stay revving for the long haul
What more could
we ask.
Thank you....
