~ That Day
Is Coming ~
Here they come, just look and
see
The heavenly host coming after
me,
Oh what joy as I behold
All those of us who'll live on
gold.
Streets of gold and gates of
pearl
Beauty never seen within this
world,
Beside the glorious throne of
God
Never more to walk this earthly
sod.
Yet what a sight we'll all
behold
Neither made of pearls nor gold,
But it will be so bright and
rare
To behold the face of Jesus
there!
For He's the light, outshines
them all
And when we've heard that gospel
call,
'Come on home to be with Me
Forever here in eternity'.
We'll march up to the glorious
throne,
That is His and His alone,
No one sits on there but Him,
When our reward we finally win.
