~ That Time Of Year ~
When the pumpkins turn to gold
And the trees begin to bare
Won't be long, I'm sure you know
That Jack Frost will be in the air
It is the time of year
For making pumpkin pies
Think I'll start a new quilt today
Doesn't this pattern catch your eye?
It was just the other day
That I saw a flock of geese
Gathering to fly south for winter
They try to before the freeze
And the farmers are so busy
Gathering in their yields
Everywhere you look now days
They're working in the fields
Yes, it is that time of year
With lots of things to do
But it's also a fun time
And I love this season, don't you?
