The pain of loss
is so very
strong
Whether love
lost or family
gone
Cutting so deep
and so very sore
Perhaps that is
what the tears
are for
To help you
drain away the
ache
So in time, the
healing will
take
Though at the
time you cannot
see
How life without
such pain would
be
I have had my
share of so much
pain
Never thought I
would smile
again
The tears flowed
like a river
deep
And the memories
of this I still
keep
The tears did
end, as time did
pass
All the pain
still there, but
not so bad
I can live my
life, as I had
before
So it must be
what the tears
were for
