For you I pray the morning
The morning of The star,
Fresh and beautiful and lovely
To bless your precious heart.

For you, I pray the dawning
Of joy and peace and love,
As you walk among the dewdrops
Basking in the warmth above.

For you, I pray the rising
To all that's good and true,
The loveliness of Jesus
To bless the heart of you.

For you, I pray the Savior's
Everlasting life,
To live and glorify Him forever
In the beauty of His light.

For you, I pray the morning star
The promise of His rest,
Your spirit flying free
By the life He gave in death.
