The poet is a mixture of sunshine and rain
A poetic heart of inspiration,
Filled with love, fun and laughter
Sometimes teardrops of pain.

Keep writing those poems
Whatever you do,
You roll back the dark clouds
So the sun will come shining through.

There is joy in your poetry
That can't be bought or sold,
God has given you a talent
Much more precious than gold.
