The loveliest of all
I would choose your budding beauty-
This, I know for sure

I'd cradle you with tender hands
Within in a pretty pot
And place you nearest to my heart
In a warm and sunny spot

So every day I'd see you
And tend you with such loving care
To enjoy your pretty fragrance
Emanating everywhere

I'd sit nearby in cloud or shine
