~ The Sky Would Fill With Petals~

If you were a sweet bride today
Then, I would gather petals,
To strew before your way
I would gather only fragrant petals
and toss them in the air
To flutter to and fro,
For you, I'd scatter petals
Everywhere I go.

Then, you would enter in
That sweet smile upon your face,
And glide demurely down the aisle
With all your charm and grace..

And there you would be married
To our Jesus at the throne,
And everywhere would smell of roses
For, all the joy you'd know
And the sky would fill with petals
All raining from above,
For you are very beautiful
Enraptured in God's love.

All your robes are fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia;
from palaces adorned with ivory
the music of the strings makes you glad ...
Listen, O daughter, consider and give ear:....
The king is enthralled by your beauty;

All glorious is the princess within her chamber;
