~ The Smiley Face ~
I
received a smiley face today
Then my day was not so bad
I passed it on to another one
Who seemed to be so sad
Then I heard a robin sing
That made my heart grow light
I also saw a bright blue sky
With not a cloud in sight
I learned to use just what I had
And ask for nothing more
Then wait for all the blessings
To come walking through my door
I'm gonna try to love much more
And complain a whole lot less
Then life will be more meaningful
By giving more tenderness
That smiley face did something
That nothing else could do
It made me have a wonderful day
Now I pass it on to you
