~ The Specialness Of My Best Friend ~

How very special you are
My own unique guiding star
When I hurt and cry in fear
You are there to catch each tear

You'll pray about each one
Is it there for your son
Or are you just in pain?
Praying blessings to rain.

Down upon my dear friend
I will be there til the end
You say I'll always be
Beside you in deepest need.

Now I am not all alone
You are close as my phone
I know that I will be alright
Heard you praying last night

I hear that special voice say
God and I will never sway
We will love you eternally
Suddenly my spirit is free!

All because my best friend
Will be with me til the end
His love and kindness gives
The help I need to live!

So thank you, God, once again
For the specialness of my best friend!
