~ The Way  ~

Our lives, be they sinful or simple,
Where do we turn now
For ease, to somehow unwrinkle
The Way is the one to be found

It's made for one and all
It's perfection, love for us
If we listen, in comes His call
The only Way is the Cross

Joyous poverty begins
Receive this loss to bear
As atonement for your sin
Help, care, love and share

To the needy, be a friend
When pain rears it's head
Shhh, quiet, never dread
God helps unto the end

Carry your cross, He told us to
Do you want to go with Him
See your Father up on high
Obey Him, obey Him, obey Him

Say 'yes' to the right, and 'no' to the wrong
Be prayerful, ask for wisdom
Reading Psalms, singing songs
Then wait for God's Kingdom
