THE WIND BEHIND US ~
There is a wind behind us
It appears when we are born
We may never see or hear it
And it's not a part of any storm.
It's a gentle wind to encourage us
A light breeze to push us through
Helping us to realize
There's nothing we can't do.
It pushes us through the years
It caresses our body and soul
This gentle breeze and/or wind
Is there to always console.
I believe this wind behind us
Is the gentle hand of our Lord
He's always there surrounding us
From Him, love constantly pours.
Do you feel a breeze caressing you?
Do you feel a brush against your cheek?
This is the Lord letting you know
He's there and He chooses to speak.
But there are times when He will whisper
Words softly spoken into your ear
It's like the wind swirling around
This wind creating words you'll hear.
So each time you hear a whisper
Or feel a gentle wind
Know the Lord is surrounding you
It's love to you He sends.
He's been with you from the very start
And He'll be with you 'till the end
Just be aware of His presence
This gentle breeze and/or wind.
