The shadows are deepening
it's nightfall again
Momma's have you got
all your children in?

Soon it will be dark, light you won't see
gather while you can,
Know they are safe
there in your hand

No need to worry
about where they will be
When the last trumpet sounds
for you and for me!

You can say to the Savior
I have them all here
Held close beside me
and loved so dear!

You left these precious ones in my care
I made sure I watched, and kept them near
So when you come
Your voice they will hear!
