They won't be home for New Years,
They haven't got the time.
Their dinners are all MREs
Mortars exploding down the line.



Their parties will be missing
Their celebrations will be few.
They're busy Freedom Fighters
Giving all for me and you!

Their families all will miss them
Their children all will cry.
They won't be home for New Years
They won't even try!



Remember all our soldiers
In places far away
As you have your celebrations
On this New Years Day!

They're fighting for your freedom
They're answering the call
They won't be home for New Years.
God be with them one and all!
