~ Things Remembered ~

It's funny we don't realize
That the moments etched in time
Are from the simple passing hours
Of days that intertwine...

Sometimes there's pure magic
In the gathering of our thoughts
And the things that we remember
Can be things we once forgot...

Happy moments we remember-
They so often bring a smile,
Like gentle embers in the night
That linger for a while...

And the moments of deep sorrow
Time never can erase
When breathing is still painful
And tears rain down our face...

It's in the middle of these moments
And all those in between
When God's love will surround you
Even though it is unseen.

For from every passing moment
Through the smiles and through the strife
These moments now unfolding
Are this joyous thing called LIFE!
