As I meandered through my day
I often thought of you
I didn't plan, nor make a note
But, somehow it was true

E'en as I sat and tried to write
I couldn't find the words
So I just thought of this to send
My ponderings in verse

For I can almost see your heart
And feel your presence near
As God unfolds your kindness
From over there to here
