The times we
share together are way too few,
But how much I cherish these moments, I truly
wish you knew.
It's difficult with all the time we spend
apart.
There's an emptiness in my life and an ache in
my heart.
Seeing you smile and how it sets your heart
aglow
Puts joy and a contentment in my heart that
outwardly shows.
Your laughter is a very special music to my
ears.
These memories help ease the pain when you
aren't near.
Dreams of holding you and running my fingers
through your hair
Breathing in your perfume as it lingers in the
air
Tasting your lips as they gently and lovingly
brush mine
Put me in a world where everything is always
fine.
There are no guarantees in life and what the
future holds for tomorrow,
But I promise to be here for you through all
of life's joys and sorrows.
You've changed my life and how I want things
to be.
Without you in my life, my spirit could never
be free.
