Changes Things # 13 ~
Well time
finally changed so
I could work no more
couldn't stand a dirty home
So I hired a maid, to do the
chore's
She came in this morning
Not much to say,
She was mad I could tell,
At least she looked that way
I said good morning dear
In a real pleasant voice
But she didn't say a word
So I had no choice
But tell her, she must
Communicate with me
If we were going to be
together
Now don't you agree?
She just turned in a wink
And was out of there
Without a word at all
But a mighty angry stare.
I looked around the room
To check things out
To see if there was something
That would make her pout
Just a little clutter
All around my chair
A bite of what I'd ate
Laying here and there?
A splash of soda pop
running down the wall
But she could clean that up
in no time at all
Oh well, I'm alone again
Seems this battle I can't win
So I grabbed the phone book
Thought I'd have a look
Only a minute was all it took
To find a nursing home
For folks like me
Guess that's the only remedy
