~ Time To Celebrate ~
Come everyone, come gather round
It's time to celebrate,
Get out the lanterns, hang the star
For Christmas
Time won't wait.
Untangle the twinkling lights
Loop them around the tree,
Sing along to the favorite carols
Oh come... rejoice
all ye that faithful be.
Get together, let's join as one
To remember it is free,
Christ's gift of love
His life
Given on that first humble tree.
Leave for a while the busyness
Finish wrapping all the gifts,
Get excited now,
into the spirit
For December twenty fifth.
Join the choir, practice your part
Don the red and white and green,
It's Jesus' birthday, hooray
All I want is you
with me
To celebrate around the tree.
