~ Today Is Ours ~

Today is ours to live happy and free
This is how God wants it to be
Who knows what the future may contain
This day will never come again.

Treasure today with love in your soul
All the happiness we have known
Today is ours to remember
Our heavenly Father is still in control.

So my dear friend today is ours
We can live, laugh, and cry
God has given us this lovely day
And too soon it will pass on by.
