As I awoke this morning I decided
Today will be a beautiful one
If you ask me how I know
'Cause it will overflow with love

You are there and I am too
And God's up in His bight blue sky
So all is well and there's no worry
To ever wonder why

We'll cheer ourselves, just as we do
To make each moment sparkling bright
With so much caring in our hearts
Then everything's alright

Each laughing ripple we will make
Will surely then resound
With your great sense of humor
What but joy could now abound

If Jesus told us to rejoice
And give thanks no matter what
Then how could today be anything but grand
Sheer lovin' hits the spot
