The very first time we met I knew
Right from the very start
That our worlds would merge together
And our hearts would blend never to part.
I knew in that first instant
When you looked into my eyes
That our lives would be connected
As my heart breathed an 'I love you' sigh.
I felt that God had created you
This wonderful person just for me
So perfectly in tune together
Each thought and word we shared so free.
All my life I have waited for you
So, I'm opening my heart to you today
God created you special and my love is true
