~ Too Late ~
Oh what a web I've woven
in this life of mine
I've shut out all my friends
Just didn't have the time
Once the days were here
with so many opportunities
But I never stopped to bother
Just thought, that's not for me
Then one day I met someone
I hadn't expected to meet
Before I hardly knew it
He swept me off my feet
He took me many places
We shared many happy times
But I was so tied to my work
Not much else was on my mind
He told me how he loved me
and that he hoped I loved him too
Now I know I really loved him
But it's too late, what can I do?
The day came that he moved on
He was feeling no love back from me
Now that I look back in time
He was such a part of me
I'd love to have a second chance
I'd give almost anything
But someone else has taken my place
I'll never hear him whisper my name
