~ Traveler ~

I am but a traveler,
A pilgrim of this earth.
I belong with Jesus
And have, since my birth!

I know I will never
In this world belong,
But I know that one day
My Lord will take me home.

Till then I will be faithful
And stay within His word;
A sojourn on this weary world,
Walking with my Lord!

Oh, some will call me crazy;
Some make fun of me;
I'll be tempted and rejected,
But soon they all will see;

That walking in the Spirit,
Being quiet, being still,
Being always watchful,
Staying within His will,

Is the ONLY way to travel
through this sinful land
Keeping my eyes on Jesus,
Holding Him by the hand.
