Twenty-Four Hours In A Day

Listen to the wind blow
Watch the sun begin to rise
Making and casting shadows
Darkness is beginning to die.

Listen to the birds sing
The sun is shining bright
The moon has now disappeared
It will return again tonight.

The hours will quickly pass
Enjoy your time in the sun
Smell the beautiful flowers
Go out and have some fun.

Nighttime will be descending
The stars will fill the sky
Dots of white will illuminate
The moon will rise on high.

A day in your life has come to an end
Twenty-four hours are now gone
How quickly a day does pass by
As you greet another dawn.
