~ Twin Sisters ~

I dedicate this poem
To a very special friend,
She will know just why I write
With all my heart to send.

For we are life's twin sisters
In the eternal bond we bear,
How united we delight to be
In the hope we share.

Our homes belong to those we love
We live to mother still,
To care for any precious heart
Is our life fulfilled.

Our hearts belong to our Lord Jesus
His the claim on us alone,
Every heart beat is safe with Him
For we are not our own.

We cherish all that He has made
No beauty is by chance,
Every flower, fruit divine
Is a garden where we dance.

Our hearts bubble up in gratitude
For every gift God gave,
Each delightful tenderness
We know is heaven made.

And though our paths may never cross
While living here below
Our hearts are joined as one forever
In the love of God we know.
