~ Unsung Christmas
Heroes ~
I look out at
the snow,
Christmas is here
I feel the peace
God gave, ever so
near
Then the sky turns
to gray as I make
a wish
Dear God in heaven
please
Let my daddy come
home
Don't let him be
an unsung
Christmas Hero
In the hot sun,
with the sand as
his home
I sit and watch
the train go
around the tree
I see all the
gifts which are
meant for me
I want to be
kissed under the
mistletoe
Wanting my daddy,
because I love him
so
Unsung Christmas
Heroes, so brave
and strong
Fighting for
freedom, so we can
all get along
Under the tree, I
see the present
daddy sent me
A tear drop falls
from my mommy's
eyes
She tries her
best, for
Christmas to be
I think of my
daddy on Christmas
night
I pray he'll feel
loved in The
Savior's pure
light
As he does
whatever must be
done
Then falls asleep
in his boots-
To dream miracles
of love
An unsung
Christmas hero
Like so many he
knows
But his spirit
will be high,
For the baby
Jesus, he sees
with his eyes
Thank God for all
unsung heroes
At the risk of
their lives
This Christmas
Day, a gift of
freedom
They give with
their life.
At Christmas may
our Savior
enfold you with
His Love;
May He fill your
heart
with gladness
and blessings from
above.
