~ Untold Love Story ~

An email came and it said an angel came and took you away.
I don't want to believe it but I've not heard from you .
I pray the Lord it isn't true,

Just one more time I need to talk to you
It has been months and I can't delete your name
And tho we never met face to face
We spent hours online

In my heart there will never be anyone to take your place.
Just one more time we need to write our heart words together ,
like we did for so many years.

We wrote laughter and we wrote tears
We wrote love and shared it with those that cared.
We wrote of good times and bad
And about the things that made life sad..

Our memories of family and home
And about mama's words to us as children
Just one more chance
I need to say the words
I love you I never told you .. afraid you might run away.

Just one more chance..to hear your laughter
Your funny stories and your wisdom will be here ever after
We were just two old Cherokees with time and hearts to share
Our words are the only thing we have to show we were here
In my heart is where you are mine

Just one more time Just one more chance
