Vacation is a wonderful thing
It's a time when you can get away
To travel to another state
To be gone for more than a day.

To forget your troubles and your woes
Allow your spirit to be free
Remove the burdens weighing you down
And enjoy the scenery.



Escape the reality of day to day living
If only for a brief time
Being able to realign your body and spirit
Being able to completely unwind.

So leave your troubles and woes behind
Set your sights for a distant land
Or just go to another state
Don't make excuses, you know you can.

Travel down that concrete highway
Or climb aboard a train
Whatever way suits you to travel
Just do it and don't complain.



Rest and relaxation is what you need
To make your body feel just right
You need to escape for a little while
And look at things in a brand new light.

So pack your bags and hit the road
There's no time for you to delay
Get out there and enjoy yourself
Don't dawdle, do it today.
